Tavelo Arden frameset: 38 mm tire room, a threaded shell and a size-label catch
The Arden Race is Tavelo's current all-road frameset: an aero frame with fully internal routing, a threaded BSA bottom bracket, a replaceable UDH hanger and room for 38 mm tires with a single chainring or 34 mm with a double. Tavelo lists the unpainted size-L frame at 780 g. At US$1,899 on 29 August 2026 it cost about US$400 more than the older, narrower Attack. The catch is sizing: the product selector and the geometry chart we recorded use different size labels. For wider tires, Tavelo's Grow gravel frame takes 55 mm at the front and 50 mm at the rear.

What the Arden Race frameset includes
The Arden Race listing includes the frame, fork, seatpost, headset bearing and both thru-axles (12×100 and 12×142 mm). Tavelo's unpainted figures for size L are 780 g ± 25 g for the frame, 355 g for the fork and 115 g for the seatpost: about 1,250 g before paint and hardware. In mainland China, a launch report listed the Arden Race frameset at ¥9,999 and the Arden SL at ¥12,999, both without a cockpit (recorded 17 August 2026).
The specification favors easy ownership more than most aero frames. A threaded BSA 68 shell avoids press-fit bearing work, and the UDH hanger is a widely stocked part. The 410 mm chainstays and the clearance limits set the riding range: 38 mm tires with 1×, or 34 mm with 2×, which suits rough tarmac and light gravel rather than a dedicated gravel build. The Arden record keeps the dated sources.

The size-label catch
On 23 September 2026 the product selector offered 425, 450, 475, 500, 530, 560 and 590. The geometry chart we recorded lists 425, 450, 475, 500, 525, 550, 570 and 590. The first four labels match; 530 and 560 have no row on that chart, and 525, 550 and 570 have no button in the selector.
So a quote for a 530 or 560 needs the chart for that exact size before a fitter can compare stack and reach. Do not assume 530 is the 525 row or that 560 sits between 550 and 570; ask Tavelo to send the chart that matches the size you are offered.
The cockpit is a separate choice
The frameset listing leaves the cockpit open, and the bar you choose moves your hands, not just the price. Tavelo now offers a riser bar beside its standard bar; the review below shows how far it moves them.
Arden or the older Attack
The Attack is Tavelo’s earlier performance road frameset: Toray T800, US$1,500 on its global page on 17 August 2026, and 32 mm tire clearance. Tavelo’s own 860 g is a minimum for size XS. A reviewer’s scale gives a closer comparison: in a video field report, Patrick Lino weighed a painted size-L Attack frame at 1,041 g with derailleur hardware fitted, the uncut fork at 443 g and the seatpost with clamp at 156 g. Against the Arden’s unpainted size-L 780 g, 355 g and 115 g, paint, hardware and the uncut steerer keep this from being like for like; if weight decides the choice, ask for a weighed, painted Arden in your size.
The Arden's case is the extra tire room (6 mm more with 1×, 2 mm with 2×) and the all-road design. If you never fit tires wider than 32 mm, the Attack's lower price may matter more than either.
Grow for gravel, Arow for a narrower aero frame
Two other Tavelo framesets in our catalog cover what the Arden does not. The Grow is the gravel race frame: the same threaded BSA shell and UDH hanger, integrated down-tube storage and published maxima of 55 mm front and 50 mm rear. In NERO Cycling's June 2026 review of a supplied frame, a 2.1-inch tire measuring about 54 mm fitted a size-49 Grow with a few millimetres left at the rear. Tavelo lists the raw frame at 880 g ± 25 g in size L, 100 g more than the Arden, and the fork at 460 g. It was US$1,650 on Tavelo's products page on 25 September 2026; the mainland China launch price was ¥9,500 without the integrated cockpit and ¥10,990 with it.
The Arow Race Polestar is the narrower aero road frame, with room for 32 mm tires, at US$1,650 on 17 August 2026. By Tavelo's own raw-frame figures the Arden is also lighter: 780 g in size L against 820 g for the Arow in XS. For about US$250 more, the Arden adds 6 mm of tire room with 1× (2 mm with 2×).
Warranty and where to buy
Tavelo's lifetime warranty page, rechecked on 23 September 2026, gives the first owner a lifetime frameset warranty; paint and decals have one year, subject to the policy's conditions. Start at the Tavelo brand site and its retailer page, and confirm that the seller can supply your exact version. A 2024 Attack owner discussion mentioned buying through Panda Podium while the web listing looked sold out; it is an old lead, not a current stock report.
