Which SEKA frame? Spear RDC, ExAero and ExAero GR by weight, tire room and price
SEKA's road frames, the Spear and the ExAero, both take 32 mm tires and a threaded BSA 68 bottom bracket. The light Spear RDC weighs 685 g bare in size M by SEKA's figure and was listed at ¥16,990 as a frameset by two mainland China dealers on 24 October 2026. For gravel, the ExAero GR takes 56 mm tires at the front and 52 mm at the rear and cost ¥14,990 with its handlebar and seatpost on SEKA's official store. Outside China, SEKA's dealer directory names shops in Europe and North America.
Three frames, with SEKA's and measured weights
SEKA's frame weights are bare, without paint or metal parts. Prices are mainland China listings on 24 October 2026 and exclude export shipping and import charges:
- Spear RDC: light aero road. 685 g bare in size M; SEKA lists 729 g ± 35 g for a painted size-M frame in Shadow Black and says paint adds 20–100 g. Cyclingnews weighed a size-L frame at 758 g, and a Xiaohongshu reviewer a painted size-M frame with its metal parts at 835 g. 32 mm tires, BSA 68. Frameset ¥16,990 from two dealers.
- Spear with the standard frame: 780 g bare in size M. A dealer's custom Shimano 105 Di2 build was ¥20,800 and about 7.0 kg, size not stated.
- ExAero and ExAero RDC: aero road with UDH and SEKA's claimed T1100/M46J carbon. 935 g and 820 g bare in size 54 (± 35 g); 32 mm, BSA 68. A Nanjing agent's frameset options ran from ¥11,990 for the standard frame to ¥20,290 for a limited RDC finish.
- ExAero GR: gravel race. 56 mm front and 52 mm rear; 980 g ± 35 g unpainted in size 54; T47 68 mm. ¥14,990 on SEKA's official store with handlebar and seatpost, paid as a ¥3,000 deposit and a ¥11,990 balance on a 15-day pre-order.
- The older Exceed still appears as a dealer's finished 105 Di2 build at ¥25,600, 7.6 kg in size S by the dealer's figure.
Outside China, start with the dealer directory
SEKA's global dealer directory names shops in Europe and North America, and its site links an official online store. A dealer quote can include fitting, assembly and claim handling; compare it with an import quote for the same frame, size and cockpit, adding the charges in the Europe or US and Canada guide.
Old reseller stories need their original context
A December 2022 Exceed buyer described a roughly six-and-a-half-month wait through a particular reseller. A February 2024 US non-RDC owner described a good warranty experience. Different models, years and sellers make these useful questions about fulfillment and service, not a score for every SEKA bike.
