ICAN gravel frames: GRARO or GRA04, and what the China-warehouse box leaves out
ICAN's current gravel framesets are the GRARO, a race frame listed at US$899 with free shipping on ICAN's store in September 2026, and the budget GRA04, sold by quote from ICAN's factory site, which takes wider 50 mm tires. Both use a threaded T47 bottom bracket. Before ordering a GRARO from the China warehouse, note two defaults ICAN introduced on 17 November 2025: the fork ships without its mount bolts and the seatpost with zero offset, unless your order note asks otherwise.
GRARO or GRA04
Both are gravel frames with a threaded T47 shell. These are the differences that decide most orders:
- GRARO: race gravel. 45 mm tires; 1,073 g ± 20 g for a painted size-52 frame in gloss finish, fork 470 g; five sizes from 49 to 58. ICAN specifies 160 mm front and 140 mm rear rotors and gravel groupsets only, with chainrings no larger than 48-31T double or 42T single. US$899 with free shipping on 25 September 2026, including fork, seatpost, bearings, thru-axles and hanger.
- GRA04: budget gravel. 50 mm tires; 1,100 g ± 50 g for a size-M frame in matte UD finish. ICAN's factory site showed a quote form but no price on 24 September 2026; our August 2026 reference range was ¥3,800–5,200.
What the China-warehouse box leaves out
ICAN's GRARO page, read on 22 October 2026, says that since 17 November 2025 China-warehouse frames ship with the fork's mount bolts left out and a 0 mm offset seatpost, unless an order note asks for the bolts or the 15 mm offset. An integrated handlebar adds the bar and spacers; a separate stem adds spacers and a top cap. Put the bolts, offset and cockpit you need into the order note: a June 2025 GRARO owner found that the supplied top-cap arrangement needed attention during assembly.
The warehouse decides the wait
ICAN sells the GRARO from more than one stock: an EU product page and a ready-to-ship page with a China-warehouse option. The June 2025 owner's EU-stock order ran short and was shipped from China instead; the frame arrived about four and a half weeks later. If the order moves warehouse, the delivery time, import charges and return address move with it, so get the new total before accepting the switch. Two-year warranty, and what a return can cost
The GRARO store page listed a two-year warranty on 1 September 2026. A historical return discussion about ICAN's A9 described staged refunds and a currency-conversion loss. It is an old account, not today's policy, but it shows how a refund can arrive smaller than the price paid.
