About GIRDER

GIRDER (格拉德) is sold in China by 苏州格拉德自行车科技有限公司, a Kunshan company recorded in a public directory as established on 2015-01-27. The company's own site says it licensed a British brand, tracing it to the 1977 founding of the Edinburgh Bicycle Co-operative and to partners in Manchester, with China authorization in 2014. We found no independent evidence for that origin or licence, so it remains a company claim. A 2016 Biketo article calling GIRDER a domestic brand was published under GIRDER's own byline, not as independent reporting.

GIRDER (girdercycle.com) · Manufacturer product pageIdentity: High · Specification: Medium · Price: Medium · accessed 2026-10-24

Exact ROAD-section BISON page lists ¥14,800; sizes S (448 mm), M (459 mm), L (497 mm); T700+T800 'integrated' frame and fork, EPS molding, fully internal routing, press-fit BB, 12 mm thru-axles; T700+T800 integrated bar; specification table: Ultegra FC-R8000 52-36T 170 mm, R8020 2×11, R8020 hydraulic discs, CS-R8000 11-32T, no chain listed; BB-386 system 46 mm × 86 mm; T700 carbon wavy-rim wheels 50/60 mm with straight-pull ceramic-bearing Center Lock hubs; Maxxis M228 700C×28C skinwall; no saddle listed; weight 7.8 kg (basis not stated). Conflict: the intro paragraph says 'the AERO TEAM is paired with the latest Shimano 2x12-speed 105 groupset' and describes RD-R7100/FD-R7100, which contradicts the table; the table is recorded and the conflict flagged. ROAD-section bikes share T700+T800 carbon and press-fit shells and do not share a frame with NEW 2025 bikes of the same name.
